It breaks my heart that my adventure down under has come to a close, and that I have to say goodbye to the place that I’ve been calling “home” for the last sixth months… Words will never be able to truly describe how amazing my time in Australia has been; these past months have easily been some of the best months of my life – I was living the dream! And I can honestly say that one of the best decisions I have ever made in life was deciding to move to Australia. So what am I going to miss the most about the land of Aus? The Aussie accent of course 😉
But who knows, I might just have to come back down here in a year when I finish college 😉
Moral of this blog: Go to Australia. Whether that be to live, to study, or to travel – just do it. Trust me. It’s a truly amazing and beautiful country that everyone deserves to experience at least once in their lifetime.
Second moral of this blog: Travel outside of your country. Believe me. You need to travel to foreign countries to truly experience life. It will expand your mind and transform your life in inexplicable ways…
Until next time Australia… Xx
P.S. I know all you loyal readers are wondering what’s going to happen with Luke and I, being as though I’m moving back to the States. Well, I’m going to go back to California for the next year to finish college, and he’s going to stay in Australia. But that’s been the same plan all along, ever since the day we met six months ago. And if I had to go back in time to when I first got to Australia, I wouldn’t have changed a thing; there’s no one else I would have rather spent my six months down under with – our memories together will last us a lifetime 🙂
P.S.S. Luke and his friend Rhys are planning on coming to stay with me in San Diego for three weeks at the end of May…. That way I can show them the American way 😉
